Air Nigeria donates N20m to Falconets
Air Nigeria has donated N20m to the Falconets in appreciation of their impressive performance at the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Germany.
The Chairman of Air Nigeria, Jimoh Ibrahim, announced the cash donation during a special reception in honour of the silver-winning Falconets in Abuja, on Thursday.
He said, “Air Nigeria wants to celebrate your victory at the World Cup. We want to thank you for putting Nigeria on the map again and for bringing back the lost glory.
“As young people, we are happy that you have already started to rebuild this nation.
“We want to commend the wife of the President for the award of scholarship to all the members of the team. The coach, Technical Committee and every member of the team have done a very great job.”
